Amazon Payment Issues and Frustration with Customer Support
A while ago, I was told that my Amazon.com Seller account had a negative balance. Due to the fact that I could lower advertising costs from my seller account, this negative balance included advertising fees. When I got to that page, I saw the advertising penalty. I chose to pay the lowest amount, which was $909, and sent $524. The paid amount did not go toward paying off my $909 debt after one to two days, and it still showed up on the dashboard as owing money. Later, I made another payment to pay the full $909 all at once, and Seller Central took another $1,433 from my account. For almost a month, I've been trying to explain the problem, but the authorities don't seem to be willing to help. There were times when seller representatives told me to talk to advertising representatives, and there were times when advertising representatives told me to talk to seller representatives. Even though I told the authorized unit about the problem several times, I still couldn't fix it. I showed proof to both units that I had overpaid $524, but I still couldn't explain my problem in a different way. It's easy to see how Amazon.com got here! In a business world where things are already tough, having to deal with such unfair problems, even though I agreed to everything, as advertising costs going through the roof without really helping sales, was the last straw for me. It's no longer acceptable to do business with these huge companies that just sit on our money, especially when the market is bad. The $524 they have is equal to a difference in minimum wage of 3,843 TL today, which is a large sum of 15,234 TL. I want it to be clear that I will go to court, involve the chamber of commerce, and do everything else that needs to be done to deal with this issue. This kind of platform will never be used by me again, even if I know I could do the best trade in the world.
Progress
Some time ago, I was notified that I had a negative balance in my Amazon.com Seller account. The negative balance included advertising fees due to the option to deduct advertising costs from my seller account. Since the dashboard was closed to pay a total amount of $909, I accessed the advertising fine, clicked on "pay minimum amount," and paid $524. However, after waiting for 1-2 days, the paid amount was not deducted from the $909 owed, and it still showed on the dashboard as $909 due. I then initiated another payment to pay the full $909 in one go, and Seller Central charged me a total of $1,433. For close to one month, I have been trying to explain the issue, but the authorities are not helping. Seller reps referred me to the ad department, and ad reps referred me to the seller department. Despite explanations from the authorized department, the issue remains unresolved. I provided documents showing the overpayment of $524, but Amazon.com has not addressed the problem. The unbalanced problems and astronomical advertising fees, without real support for sales, have become intolerable. In difficult trading conditions, these giant companies exploit our money. $524 is more than the minimum wage, and $1,433 is a significant amount. I declare my intention to take all necessary legal steps, including courts and the chamber of commerce, on this matter. Despite the potential for excellent trade, I will not enter such platforms again.
