Amazon Digital Charged Me and I Don't Know What It's For

July 24 4:05 PM

I am an Amazon Prime customer in the United States and I need help regarding an “Amazon Digital” charge on my account and a phone verification problem. Recently I noticed a charge described as Amazon Digital on my account, but I do not understand exactly what this charge is for. I am logged into my Amazon account, but when I call Amazon by phone to ask about this charge, the system tries to send a confirmation code by text to a phone number that appears to be my old number. Because I no longer have that number, I cannot receive the code and I am unable to complete verification or speak properly with support about the billing matter. In this complaint I am asking you to clearly explain what this Amazon Digital charge is for and which subscription, service, or purchase it is connected to. Once I have that information, I will decide whether I want to continue or cancel it and whether I should request a refund. I also request that you update my account contact information so that verification codes are sent to my current phone number instead of the old one, or provide an alternative way to verify my identity and reach customer support without relying on the outdated number. I would like this issue to be resolved so I can understand my charges and manage my account securely.
