Amazon Prime Charges I Did Not Authorize
I have discovered that my Discover card in the USA has been charged for an Amazon Prime membership and an additional monthly fee that I did not knowingly authorize and that we do not use. My daughter accidentally activated Amazon Prime on her old Amazon account, and since last year, I have been paying approximately $16.08 every month for this membership. In the more recent months, another separate charge of about $6.42 has started appearing each month, and I do not know what this extra subscription is for. My daughter no longer has access to that old Amazon account or the phone number linked to it, and yet these charges are still being taken from my Discover card every month. I tried to contact Amazon customer service to resolve the issue, but I could not get through because verification codes and messages were being sent to the old number and account that we no longer have access to. As a result, I am stuck paying for services we do not use and cannot manage or cancel. I request that all Amazon Prime and related subscription charges associated with my Discover card, starting from when these payments began last year, be fully refunded, as we have not been using these services. I also ask that all active subscriptions linked to my card, including the additional monthly charge of about $6.42, be completely cancelled immediately and that the account and verification information be updated in a way that allows me to manage my payments securely going forward.
I tried to send you the transactions, but it is not allowing me to paste them here.
I'm just wondering what is going on. They said "give it 72 hours" it's been over that. I'd like to know what's going on with the refunding process? Nobody's getting back to me you just want me to rate you guys. This is ridiculous.
