Amazon Locked Out – Verification Code Sent to Old Phone Number Only

May 4 5:11 AM110

I am having a serious issue accessing my Amazon account because the system insists on sending a verification code to my old phone number, which I no longer use. I recently got a new device and a new phone number, and when I try to sign in, Amazon only offers to send the code to the old number, so I cannot complete the login. I first experienced this problem about a month ago and again today, and still have not been able to sign in successfully. Because I cannot receive codes on my old number, I am currently locked out of my account even though it is mine. I am asking Amazon to help me regain access to my account and to update the phone number on my account to my current number after verifying my identity through another method. I want this to be resolved as soon as possible so I can use my Amazon and Prime services again without being blocked by the old phone number.
