Amana Refrigerator Repair Scam—Paid $1500, No Fix, No Invoice

When my Amana refrigerator stopped working, I searched online for an Amana service provider and called a technician listed in an ad. The repairman, V**** Ş****, took one quick look—without even inspecting the fridge—and immediately claimed the control board needed replacement. He charged me $1500 upfront, supposedly replaced the part, but never gave me the old one. He assured me the fridge would start working soon.
A full day passed, and my freezer defrosted, ruining all my food. The fridge never turned on. When I confronted him, he couldn’t provide an invoice and promised someone would call. Realizing he couldn’t fix it, he sent his brother—who isn’t even a technician! His brother swapped out a fan part, and the fridge started working, but I never received proof of the $1500 control board replacement.
This "service" is nothing but a scam. They lure people in under the guise of Amana repair, falsely claim the control board is faulty, and take $1500 without delivering real repairs or a receipt. Amana, take action against these fraudulent service providers! I demand a proper invoice and an explanation for this deception!
