High Taxes and Refund Issues for Alibaba Electric Motorcycle Motor Purchase

I purchased an electric motorcycle motor from Alibaba for $85, with an additional $67 for shipping, totaling $152. The product reached Istanbul customs, and I was informed by UPS that I needed to provide a notarized power of attorney for clearance. I paid 1,400₺ for the notary fees, only to learn that the tax on my $85 product would be an outrageous 20,000₺.

When I attempted to request a refund, the seller refused, stating it was my issue and that the product would be destroyed. This is entirely unfair and unacceptable. I demand that the product be returned to the seller or a full refund be provided. Alibaba should address this issue and ensure better support for customers facing such unjust practices.
