I traveled with AJet from Iğdır to İzmir with a stopover in Istanbul. The flight from Iğdır took off with a one-hour delay. When I arrived in Istanbul, it was 19:05—and my connecting flight to İzmir had already departed at exactly 19:05. Although the layover time should have been sufficient under normal circumstances, the delay ruined everything. Along with 12 other passengers, I was rebooked on the 22:40 Istanbul–İzmir flight. Guess what happened? The 22:40 flight didn’t take off until 00:40. I was supposed to be in İzmir by 20:20, but now it’s 03:06 in the morning and I’m waiting for the 03:40 bus.
