Ajet Denied My Legal Right to Priority Service as a Passenger With Disability

Dear Sir/Madam,

On May 25, 2025, when I approached the Ajet ticket counter to purchase a ticket, I, as a person with a disability, attempted to exercise my legal right to receive priority service as granted under Law No. 5378 on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its associated regulations. However, I was dismissed by the counter staff, Ms. G*****, who told me, “You don’t have any priority—please wait in line,” clearly rejecting my request. As is well known, Article 4 of Law No. 5378 and the Accessibility Monitoring and Inspection Regulation require that public spaces and services ensure access and priority service for individuals with disabilities. Commercial enterprises are equally obligated to comply with these provisions. The conduct demonstrated by Ajet personnel not only violates my legal rights but also disrespects human dignity and the principle of equal service. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated, that appropriate administrative action be taken regarding the staff member involved, that your personnel be properly informed about disability rights, and that I receive an official explanation regarding this incident. Thank you for your attention.
