Ajet Luggage Not Delivered Due To Staff Misinformation

On October 27, 2025, my father and I purchased tickets for AJet flight VF3004 from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Ankara Esenboğa (PNR: 3BB5YN). Before the flight, we checked in a total of three pieces of luggage. However, due to a last-minute work issue, my father was unable to travel. As I was boarding through Gate 401A, I informed the gate staff about the situation. The staff member contacted the authorities by phone and radio, and after speaking with them, told me that “one of the passengers would not be boarding, but all the luggage would still be sent to Ankara.” Based on this clear confirmation, I boarded the plane. However, when I arrived at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, my luggage was not delivered to me. When I went to the lost luggage office, I was told that the suitcases had not been loaded onto the plane because my father did not board. I had been told otherwise before boarding, so I was misled due to the staff’s misinformation. A record was created by the Ankara Esenboğa Lost Luggage Office under the number ESBVF40209. When I contacted the Sabiha Gökçen authorities again, I was told that the suitcases could only be sent for a fee based on weight. This issue resulted from the staff’s incorrect guidance and is entirely the company’s responsibility. My suitcases contained business samples crucial for meetings and project planning in Ankara. The failure to deliver them disrupted my work process and caused a significant financial loss. Therefore, I request that my grievance caused by this misinformation be resolved and that my suitcases be delivered to me without any additional charge.
