Ajet Charged Me Unfairly for Baggage on Stuttgart to Istanbul Flight
On February 2, 2025, at 13:15, I traveled on flight VF46 from Stuttgart to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen with PNR 22HB0T under the name H*** D***. I had already checked in online at your Germany office. When I arrived to drop off my luggage, the staff included the weight of my PC bag in the total baggage allowance, even though I was entitled to that weight as part of my ticket. Despite not exceeding the allowed baggage limit, I was charged extra. According to the ticket details, I had a right to 1 piece of 8 kg cabin baggage and 25 kg checked baggage under Ecojet. When I explained that my PC bag should not be included according to flight rules, I was told I could not remove any items from my suitcase and that I had to pay. I was pressured by the employee who said, "I will not take it; you cannot open it." To avoid further conflict and because I needed to catch my flight for work, I reluctantly paid €48. This behavior by Ajet staff is unacceptable and amounts to forcing passengers to pay under duress. Such practices tarnish the reputation of an organization affiliated with Turkish Airlines. I will escalate this matter to the consumer arbitration board and other relevant authorities. I request that this incident be investigated, appropriate action taken against the employee, and that I receive feedback regarding my complaint. I hope this issue is taken seriously.
