Still Waiting 22 Days for Airbnb Refund
I booked with the code hmmmsf9thx on September 17, 2023, via Airbnb, and canceled on September 18, 2023. Despite a notification of an immediate refund, it's now October 9, 2023—22 days later, and I've yet to receive any payment.
Airbnb and my bank play the blame game, each pointing fingers at the other. Even with my bank's check using the ARN number and payment ID, no refund is recorded. Airbnb support claims they processed the refund, urging me to share codes with my bank.
Recently, a foreign support team member redirected me, but reaching anyone is impossible. I demand a resolution for my situation. Many others share this disappointing experience, shattering the trust I had in an accommodation app I once confidently recommended.
