Airbnb Overcharged My Credit Card
On March 10, 2025, I made a reservation on Airbnb using confirmation code HM3NB93 5. According to the invoice, the total amount to be paid was 8,544.52 ₺, but when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that 8,812.34 ₺ was charged instead.
This is a clear overcharge, and there is no justification for the discrepancy between the invoiced amount and the actual transaction. The charged amount must match the invoice exactly, yet Airbnb withdrew an excess amount without explanation.
I demand an immediate refund of the overcharged difference and an explanation for why this happened. Airbnb must ensure transparency in its transactions and prevent such issues from occurring in the future.
