I Faced a 3-Hour Delay with Air Arabia and Got No Answers or Support
I’m incredibly frustrated with Air Arabia after experiencing an unacceptable and poorly managed delay on our 1:40 AM flight. Initially, we were told there would be a 20-minute delay, then another 20 minutes, and so on. This continued until the delay stretched over 3 hours, and we still received no clear explanation.
Every time we asked for an update, all we heard was, “We’re waiting for information.” No one could tell us whether the plane had a technical issue or something else was going on. The lack of transparency is absolutely infuriating, and dozens of families with young children were left stranded, lying on chairs at the airport throughout the night.
We had a scheduled tour starting early in the morning, and now the entire itinerary is disrupted. We paid a significant amount of money for this trip and Air Arabia has stolen our time and experience. Meanwhile, flights that were scheduled after ours took off on time—yet we continued waiting without any accountability.
This is totally unacceptable. Clearly, Air Arabia fails to conduct timely maintenance and passenger communication is nonexistent. I will never fly with Air Arabia again, nor will I book any tour that includes this airline. I expect a formal explanation, a full apology, and compensation for the delay and inconvenience.
