I Face Inconsistent Baggage Policy with Air Arabia at Casablanca Airport
On July 23, 2025, I was scheduled to fly back to Türkiye with Air Arabia. My suitcase was a bit full, and although it initially exceeded the size limit, I removed some items and gave them to my friends. After that, my bag met the required dimensions. However, the same Air Arabia staff member—likely a security agent—insisted again that my suitcase was too large.
What frustrates me most is that I used the exact same suitcase when I flew from Türkiye to Morocco with Air Arabia and had no issues at all. Why is the same luggage acceptable in Türkiye but suddenly problematic in Casablanca?
They tried to pressure me into paying for extra baggage using a printed A4 sheet. I feel this was an unfair and arbitrary demand. The bag passed the fit test after adjustment, yet I was still told to pay. It feels like I was deliberately targeted for an unnecessary charge.
I ask Air Arabia to apply their baggage policies consistently across all airports and ensure fair treatment for passengers. I also request a refund for any forced extra charges applied without proper justification.
