Air Albania Check-In Counter Opened Only 1 Hour Before Istanbul–Tirana Flight
On September 14, 2025, for my 21:20 Air Albania flight from Istanbul to Tirana, I arrived at Istanbul Airport three hours in advance as is standard for international flights. However, to my surprise, the check-in counter did not open until just one hour before departure. This forced me, despite being early, to complete all my airport procedures in a rushed and stressful manner. Such late counter openings are highly unusual for international flights and create unnecessary inconvenience for passengers who arrive on time expecting a smooth process. I am requesting a clear explanation from Air Albania as to why the counter was opened so late, and I urge the airline to take steps to ensure that such situations do not happen again so that passengers are not put under avoidable stress in the future.
