I Am Requesting Agoda To Refund My 272.92 Euros To My Bank Account

Agoda has unlawfully debited the amount of €272.92 from my bank account (transaction approval number 364095) for a reservation at Green Suites Hotel in Athens, Greece, even though Agoda itself cancelled this reservation. The booking was under ID 694337631 and the stay was supposed to start on 12 September. Agoda cancelled the reservation on 26 August, yet on 31 August €272.92 was still taken from my bank account, as shown in my Eurobank transaction details. I have contacted my bank and informed them that this is an unauthorized withdrawal by Agoda. I have also contacted Agoda customer service many times. They have replied three times claiming that they have “released” the money from my bank account, but the amount has not been returned and their responses show that they either do not understand or ignore my clear request, which makes me feel that they are simply playing with me instead of resolving the issue. I request the immediate refund of €272.92 to my bank account and written proof of this refund. I expect Agoda to correct this unlawful charge without any further delay and to confirm in writing when the refund has been completed.
