Agoda Overcharged My Card — Duplicate Payment Still Unresolved
On October 24, 2025, I made a reservation through Agoda (Reservation Code: 5922*35) to stay at Garden Suites Cappadocia Hotel and paid a total of $69. However, on October 28, 2025, I noticed that the same amount had been charged a second time to my card. The first payment is still pending in authorization, while the second payment has been fully processed and withdrawn from my account.
I tried contacting Agoda customer service multiple times via phone, email, and the app, but received no response. When I contacted my bank (Garanti BBVA), they informed me that the issue must be resolved directly by the merchant (Agoda).
My reservation was not canceled, and I had no issues during my stay at the hotel. I am requesting that the duplicate payment of $69 be refunded to my card immediately. I kindly ask for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
