On April 19, 2025, I booked a one-night stay at Taksim Park Hotel through Agoda (Reservation No: 1603579475) and paid ₺2,285.22. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the new owners informed me that they no longer work with Agoda. They said the ownership transition was not yet complete and, as a result, they could not honor the reservation.
So we were turned away and unable to stay. The hotel owners also confirmed they had not received any payment from Agoda, and that the issue lay solely with Agoda’s system.
I contacted Agoda’s customer service and submitted multiple emails, but no one has responded. Despite the fact that no service was provided, and the hotel itself acknowledged the refusal of our reservation, I still haven’t received a refund.
This situation is entirely Agoda’s fault, and I demand a full refund of ₺2,285.22 immediately. If I do not receive my money back, I will escalate this issue via legal action and the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee.
I have full documentation and screenshots to support my claim and will provide them upon request. Agoda, resolve this now.
