Agoda Refused Refund And Date Change For Venice Hotel Reservation
Through Agoda, I made reservation number 1725400252 on May 6, 2026, for Hotel Dell Opera in Venice covering the dates May 20–22.
Not only was I unable to receive support for either cancellation or date modification, but approximately $990 was also charged from my card without my effective approval, and I have been unable to obtain a refund for this amount.
Only a few minutes after completing the reservation, I realized that I needed to cancel or modify the booking. However, the system did not allow me to process a cancellation.
In reality, I would like to stay between May 22–24 instead of May 20–22, but I was also unable to complete any date change request through the Agoda system.
In addition, I could not find any accessible customer service phone number through which I could directly contact Agoda regarding this issue. Being unable to speak with a real representative has made this entire situation even more frustrating and stressful.
To resolve this customer grievance, my primary request is a full refund of the approximately $990 charged from my card.
If a refund is not possible, then I request that my reservation dates at least be changed to May 22–24 without any additional fees or penalties being charged to me.
