Agoda Refused Refund for Canceled Hotel Reservation
On December 26, I made a booking through Agoda (Reservation ID: 1480550204) for a stay from January 6 to January 7, 2025. Shortly after, I realized I needed to change the reservation dates to December 26 to December 27, 2024. To rebook, I canceled the original reservation, only to discover that no refund would be issued for the canceled booking.
This is highly unfair, as I did not stay at the hotel or utilize the reservation in any way. Agoda’s policy in this case seems unreasonable and against consumer protection laws.
I demand an immediate refund for the canceled booking. It is unacceptable for Agoda to keep my money for a service I did not use. Please resolve this issue promptly.
