Between September 1–5, 2025, I booked a sea view room at Orange County Hotels Alanya through Agoda and even paid an extra fee specifically for this upgrade. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was given a land view room instead. This was not only a breach of what I paid for but also caused major problems during my stay.
The reason I chose and paid more for a sea view room was because I was traveling with my baby. We wanted a quiet room with a sea view so our child could rest peacefully. Instead, our room faced the busy roadside, which was extremely noisy, and my baby could not sleep properly. As a family, we had hoped to enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the sea with our daughter, but this was completely denied to us despite paying extra. Our holiday was completely ruined.
I contacted Agoda customer service multiple times, raised the issue with the hotel staff, and also sent several emails. Despite all this, I have not received any support, resolution, or refund.
