On October 21, 2025, I made a reservation through Agoda for Hotel No37 in Kaş, Antalya, Turkey, with check-in on October 25, 2025, and check-out on October 29, 2025. I specifically chose a sea-view room, which was priced higher than the standard options, and I paid a total of $467. My reservation number is 1661127661.
After completing my reservation, I contacted the hotel directly and was informed that the hotel does not work with Agoda and that the sea-view room I purchased was actually closed for booking. The hotel stated that, in their system, the room assigned to me appeared as a cheaper, non-sea-view room. In other words, Agoda sold me a room that wasn’t actually available and charged me a higher price. The hotel told me they could not assist and advised me to request a refund directly from Agoda.
I tried contacting Agoda multiple times, but it was impossible to reach a real representative. Neither email support nor the automated help system provided a solution. I was eventually forced to cancel my reservation, even though it was due entirely to Agoda’s system error. Since the booking was labeled as non-refundable, my payment was not returned.
This issue was not caused by me, but by Agoda’s technical and listing error. I was charged extra for a room I never received and left without any support from either Agoda or the hotel. I request a full refund of $467 as compensation for this mistake and the inconvenience caused.
