I Booked and Paid Through Agoda, But Hotel Has No Record!
I made a reservation for the Orange County hotel on July 27th from Agoda.com between August 5th and August 10th. I paid online and my reservation was confirmed and sent to me by e-mail. They also sent me the invoice for the service I purchased. They e-mailed me the documents containing the number 1313662264 as the reservation number and the number 2407280552344612806 as the reservation reference number, payment confirmation, reservation confirmation and my invoice. On July 29, I called the hotel to get confirmation of my reservation. Hotel officials said that no reservation was made in our name and that they did not work with agoda.com. They informed me that the amount I paid was not forwarded to them and that there was a fee difference that was not their sales amount. They stated that the prices on Agoda.com were not up-to-date and hotel officials could not access this site. They said that Agoda.com company did not provide a refund and that they did not receive any payment from the hotel, so we did not have a reservation. I could not reach Agoda.com in any way. I was victimized with my wife and 1-year-old child. Before making a complaint to the necessary authorities, I am reporting the situation to the site officials here so that they can provide support regarding the issue. Additionally, in order to avoid communication problems, I became an Agoda Fast Track customer by paying an extra 65.9 lira while making the holiday payment, so that we could talk to the customer representative without waiting in line. I saw that this was a service provided entirely to get extra money from us because you cannot contact Agoda customer representative in any way. You have to deal with a bot where you can ask questions about the topics determined by artificial intelligence. I request that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.

In the email you sent, you mentioned that you spoke with the hotel and confirmed my reservation. However, when I contacted the Orange County hotel, they informed me that the reservation department was outside of working hours and that I should call again tomorrow morning for confirmation. My issue has not been resolved yet. I will contact the hotel again tomorrow morning to get the reservation confirmation.
