If Aegean Airlines cancelled your connecting flight without any prior notice and left you in a difficult situation, you are entitled to request a full refund.
According to the EU air-passenger regulation EC 261/2004, when an airline cancels a flight, it is required to provide a re-routing option, a travel voucher, or a cash refund for any unused ticket segments.
For a refund, simply fill out Aegean’s online refund-request form and choose the option for a monetary refund rather than a voucher.
If your flight was canceled with little or no notice and the airline is responsible, you could be eligible for compensation ranging from €250 to €600 based on the distance of your flight, along with your refund.
