AEG Refrigerator Owner Balks at $517 Motor Replacement Quote After 1 Week

My AEG RCB74711NX model refrigerator hasn't been cooling for about a week now. After noticing the problem, I called the authorized service department, and they came and inspected it. They told me the compressor/motor needed to be replaced and asked for $517 for this. The product's warranty period has already expired. However, being asked for such a high fee, and having the refrigerator break down like this after such a short time, has left me feeling wronged.
I live in İzmir, and I'm requesting that my refrigerator be repaired free of charge. I'm waiting for an urgent solution to this matter.
