Zurich Rejected My Windshield Claim Without Proof Despite Active Policy Coverage

My windshield got damaged from an object dropped from the building where I was parked on May 5th, 2025. I requested a replacement which is included in my policy (effective April 27, 2025 - April 27, 2027) but Zurich says the incident took place before the effective date, yet they have no way of proving that. I have the cctv recordings and security minute proving the incident but Zurich didn't request those proof documents, they just decided the incident took place before the policy date without any valid reason. The funny thing is that my previous policy was also with Zurich, so even if they were right (which they aren't) they should still pay for the damage. The only response I got from them has been 'it's rejected' without any detailed reasoning for their false assumption. Accusing your customer of a false assumption is a felony and you will face the consequences in court. I urgently demand my unjust treatment be fixed!
Dear Sir/Madam, Upon checking your application, we have seen that you have submitted your initial request through SEDDK. For this reason, we would like to inform you that an official written response will be provided to you through your Treasury application. Kind regards, ZURICH INSURANCE INC.

Zurich Insurance has rejected my claim application with only verbal explanations, without providing any written justification, and has deliberately ignored my repeated requests for a written response. Now, they are trying to evade responsibility by completely referring the process to the SEDDK. The company's avoidance of making a direct and reasoned explanation on its own initiative is merely a strategy to wear down the consumer by prolonging the process. However, their allegations are based solely on assumptions, and there is clear evidence such as photographs and site records showing that the damage occurred within the policy period. As of today, my application to the Consumer Arbitration Committee has also been officially submitted. This process is now being pursued not only on an administrative level but also on a legal basis. Zurich Insurance’s approach in this process is contrary to both insurance law and consumer rights. I will continue to share this process on various public platforms.

After a long series of complaints, they agreed to cover the glass damage. We went through a stressful process that lasted about 2 weeks. Of course, when I received the vehicle, I saw that instead of the 'original glass' required by my policy, a 'replacement glass' was installed without my knowledge or approval. Their discouraging policies were partially effective, and I gave up insisting on receiving my full entitlement. Although the issue was partially resolved, I cannot extend my thanks since I did not receive my full rights.
