I have car insurance with Zurich Insurance. A week ago, another vehicle backed into my car, causing damage with its tow hitch (!). Naturally, I filed a claim with my insurance and had my car towed to an authorized repair shop.

Despite numerous calls since the incident on March 26, 2024, I still haven't received a replacement vehicle. My workplace is 21 km away from Kayseri, and I sometimes need to travel back and forth several times a day. Taxi fares range from ₺600-800 depending on the destination.

Today, I called the repair shop to inquire about my car's status. They informed me that the bodywork was complete, the necessary parts like the radiator and bumper had arrived, and they could deliver my car within a week.

However, when I contacted Zurich Insurance, they told me my claim hadn't been approved yet. I pointed out that the repair shop was almost finished with the car and wouldn't have proceeded without approval, which surprised the call center representative. I suspect this is their company policy: delaying approvals and rental cars to frustrate customers.

If possible, I will cancel my policy with Zurich Insurance. If not, I will certainly never purchase another policy from them again.

Additionally, I received a call from a lawyer requesting power of attorney regarding the car's value. I'm concerned about how this lawyer obtained my claim information.

As can be understood from this message, it's the same stalling tactic again. I haven't been able to get a replacement vehicle for a week, and I'm still being told, "We will review and get back to you." Patience... Meanwhile, the service will repair my car and deliver it by the weekend...
