On December 10, 2025, I made a payment of $1.70 through Zety to create a CV. Since my Garanti Bank card details remained saved in their system, I was later charged $23.95 four separate times—at the end of December, and again in January, February, and March—without my knowledge or consent. Because I use the same card for my everyday expenses, I did not notice these charges at first.
On March 17, 2026, I logged back into the website to update my CV, and the following day, while reviewing my statement, I discovered these unauthorized charges. I contacted Zety via email to request a refund. However, despite explaining the situation in detail three times, they continue to offer only an $11 refund each time, which is unacceptable.
I already paid the required $1.70 fee to create my CV, and I never knowingly or willingly agreed to any subscription beyond that. When I attempted to cancel my membership, I was presented with offers encouraging me to continue for $3, which makes me believe this process is deliberately designed to mislead users. I have also seen many similar complaints from other users reporting the same issue.
I have filed a dispute with Garanti Bank regarding these four unauthorized transactions. I demand that Zety fully refund the total amount of 4 × $23.95 charged without my consent and that they make their billing practices transparent to prevent further consumer harm.
