MyTrip Unexpected Fee Charged Without Warning Needs Refund

On August 22, 2025, at 16:52:16, following a transaction I made through MyTrip Online, an amount of approximately $120 was deducted from my account under the name “foreign exchange transaction tax.” My customer number for this transaction is: 2095-19791862-351.

During the transaction, I was not informed about any additional fees, taxes, or charges. I did not receive any warning, approval request, or notification regarding this deduction.

I contacted customer service regarding this issue, but I was only told that I would receive a response as soon as possible. However, I have not received any follow-up so far.

I used my Denizbank card for this transaction, and I have never encountered such a deduction before.

I request a full refund of this amount, which was charged to my account without any prior notification or consent.
