Zara T-Shirt Shrinks After First Wash Despite Care Instructions
On February 12, I purchased a t-shirt from Zara’s online store with order number 5458*****34, paying approximately $28. When I received the product, I tried it on and it fit perfectly—there were no issues with the size or cut. The label and care instructions clearly stated that the item could be washed at 30°C.
I waited for suitable weather to wear the t-shirt, and during this time, I washed it exactly according to the instructions at 30°C. However, after washing, when I tried it on again, I noticed that it had significantly shrunk, its shape had completely changed, and it no longer fit me, making it unwearable. Experiencing this despite following the care instructions precisely indicates that the product is defective or of poor quality.
After paying $28 for this item, I did not expect to face such an issue under proper use. I request that Zara conduct the necessary inspection and resolve my grievance, preferably by offering a replacement or an appropriate solution.
