I Face Shrinkage and Color Fade on Zara Linen Clothes After Gentle Wash
On March 21, 2025, I purchased several linen products from Zara Metromall, paying ₺[amount]. Unfortunately, despite washing them at 30°C according to the care instructions, two of the items noticeably shrank, and another product faded badly, as shown in the attached photo.
Today, I visited the Zara Metromall store to explain the issue to a staff member. However, they persistently refused to understand the nature of linen fabric and wrongly attributed the color fading to softener use, claiming it was a user error. I have been purchasing linen products from Zara for years and have never encountered such an explanation.
This experience has caused me frustration and disappointment in the brand’s post-purchase support. I am requesting an immediate replacement of the defective items.
