I used the website yourselffirst.com on 6 February 2025 and purchased an IQ test for 1.95 USD using my Turkish debit card. At the time of payment, nowhere on the page was it clearly stated that I was signing up for a recurring subscription or a monthly plan. I accepted what I understood to be a one‑time payment of 1.95 USD only. On 20 February 2025, I received a message from my bank informing me that 39.95 USD had been charged from my account by youfirst.com. When I logged into the site to understand this charge, I saw that my account showed a “one-month plan, 7-day trial for 1.95 USD, amount billed every 1 month for 39.95 USD”. I did not knowingly consent to or approve this monthly subscription at any stage of the original purchase. After seeing this unauthorized subscription, I immediately cancelled the plan on the site and wrote an email to youfirst.com to object to the charge and ask for a refund. I have not yet received any response. In my research online, I saw that many other people have experienced the same situation, and, according to some of them, the subscription even continued after they cancelled, which increases my concern about this company’s practices. I request a full refund of the 39.95 USD that was withdrawn from my account on 20 February 2025 without my explicit consent and a clear written confirmation that my subscription and monthly plan on yourselffirst.com have been fully cancelled and that no further charges will be made to my card.
