I have been using a Yapı Kredi Bank credit card whose limit was ₺1,000,000. Approximately one week ago, without any prior information being given to me and without my approval, my card limit was suddenly reduced to ₺500,000 . I only found out after noticing the change myself, and this unannounced limit reduction has negatively affected my financial planning. After realizing the situation, I contacted the bank and was told that this was done due to “bank policy”. However, I was not given a clear, individual explanation as to why my limit was reduced despite any specific negative situation on my side not being mentioned. I request that my credit card limit be restored to its previous level and that such significant changes not be made in the future without my prior information and explicit consent. I kindly ask for my situation to be reviewed and for a written explanation to be shared with me.
