About 7-8 months ago, the limit on my credit card with TEB Bank, which was originally ₺2,500, was increased to ₺150,000 without my knowledge or consent. I was not informed of this change, nor was my approval requested. When I noticed the situation, I called TEB customer service and asked for my credit card limit to be lowered. However, despite my request, no action was taken for about a week. During this time, due to financial difficulties, I was forced to use the card. Because the limit was kept so high against my will, not lowered when I requested, and because I had to use the card, debt was created. Although I made regular payments from time to time, and most recently paid ₺35,000, my card was closed, and I was informed that it would not be reopened unless I fully paid the remaining debt. By increasing my credit card limit without my consent, your bank put me into debt, and despite my payments, I was left without access to my card. I was subjected to a limit I never asked for, and all responsibility has been placed on me. I do not believe this situation can be explained in a way that favors the customer. I request that my grievance be resolved and that my credit card be reopened for use. Otherwise, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and other relevant authorities, and I will also share it publicly on Xolvie and social media.
