Yandex GO Charged Me Twice for Every Ride — I Want All Duplicate Payments Refunded
I recently started using Yandex GO and received multiple in-app messages saying that paying by card would offer discounts. Since I use taxis often, I added my card, thinking it would save me money. But instead, I ended up being charged twice for every ride.
After each trip, I paid the driver as normal. Then, a few minutes later, a nearly identical amount was deducted from my card. I assumed it might be a temporary hold and waited for a refund, but the extra payments were never returned. I essentially paid double for every ride I took.
I contacted support, sent them proof from my online banking, and even shared receipts. Their response? They told me those documents weren't valid and that I needed to prove it differently. It’s unbelievable. I eventually had to cancel my card because there was no resolution or responsible contact.
