Yalla Okey Charges Hit My Axess Card Without Approval
Multiple charges were made without my knowledge or consent through the Yalla Okey app on my Akbank Axess credit card. For these transactions, I did not receive any SMS verification codes or notification messages. Unauthorized transactions occurred on different dates, especially in April, and later again in September, October, and November.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I immediately filed a dispute with my bank. A refund was issued for only one transaction, while the others are marked as “temporarily unpaid” or “rejected.” Despite this, I want to clearly state that I am not responsible for these transactions and that my card information was used without authorization. I also contacted Yalla Okey via email, but received no response.
I am requesting that all charges made without my knowledge or consent be canceled and that all amounts charged to my card be refunded to me. Additionally, I request that this security breach be investigated, that necessary measures be taken to prevent it from happening again, and that I receive a written explanation regarding this matter.
