Yahoo Mail account hacked and password changed, requesting account recovery and security review
I am a Yahoo Mail user in New York, United States, and my account has been hacked. On 11 July I realized that I could no longer log in to my Yahoo Mail, and later I understood that the hacker had changed my password without my permission. Since then I have been completely locked out of my account and I am seriously concerned about my personal data and any services connected to this email. I searched online for help and found information directing users to “App Support Help Center” at the phone number +1‑866‑639‑5720, which is presented as 24/7 support for account issues, wallet services, transaction inquiries, crypto trading questions and similar services. This information suggests that calling that number would provide professional assistance with account recovery, login difficulties, identity verification, payment issues, password resets and account access problems. However, my problem is specifically with my Yahoo Mail account and its security. I want to clearly state that I need direct, official support from Yahoo for my hacked Yahoo Mail account and not to be redirected to any unrelated or third‑party “App Support Help Center” or phone number such as +1‑866‑639‑5720. For such a serious security incident, I expect clear and trustworthy communication channels from Yahoo itself. I request that Yahoo urgently review my hacked-account case, verify my identity through secure, official Yahoo processes, and help me immediately regain access to my Yahoo Mail account. I also ask that my account be fully secured, any unauthorized access be terminated, and that I be informed about any changes or suspicious activities that took place while the hacker controlled my account.
