Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 2 Pro Won’t Navigate Properly – Service Failed to Fix the Issue

Our Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 2 Pro has been experiencing serious navigation issues, and despite multiple service attempts, the problem remains unresolved. At this point, it seems like our next step will be taking legal action against Xiaomi.

We first sent the device to Genpa İzmir Çankaya service center on November 21, 2024, because it stopped moving properly and wouldn’t follow the mapped layout. They replaced the sensor and claimed the issue was fixed, but when we tested it at home, the problem persisted. We returned it for a second repair, only to receive an unbelievable message from Genpa on December 17, 2024 stating that the device could not be repaired.

Upon calling Genpa, we discovered that their service agreement with Xiaomi had ended on December 16, and that’s why they refused to fix the product. Worse yet, we were suddenly told to pick up the device immediately because the Genpa Çankaya branch was shutting down! We barely managed to retrieve our vacuum before the branch closed, only to confirm once again that it was still malfunctioning.

After contacting Xiaomi, we were informed that there were no authorized service centers in İzmir and had to ship the device to BDH Bilişim in Istanbul. On January 3, we received confirmation that the product had been received, and later that evening, we got another message saying it was already shipped back. Checking BDH Bilişim’s system, it was clear that no real repair was done, and we felt like we were being mocked.

The problem still persists—the vacuum spins in place for minutes and cannot complete the mapping process. As an informed consumer, I know my rights. A product that has been sent for repair three times for the same issue qualifies for a full replacement or a refund.

Xiaomi, if I do not receive a response within three business days, I will take legal action through the Consumer Court. I expect an immediate resolution—either a new device or my money back! Has anyone else faced a similar issue with Xiaomi’s service?
