Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Bent in Less Than a Year and Repair Costs Half the Price

I got a Redmi Note 12 for my son, and after less than a year, the phone has bent. I've been using phones for years and have never seen a device twist like this. It wasn't dropped or mistreated; the phone simply bent over time. I believe this occurred because the brand chose a cheap frame that could not withstand typical use. When I took it to a repair shop, they informed me it was a "user error" and that replacing the frame would cost nearly half as much as the phone. I'm quite concerned that such a fault may occur so simply, and I hope the manufacturer listens to this issue and accepts responsibility for giving a good solution.
