Redmi Note 10s Screen Malfunction After Repair, Touch Issues Persist
I accidentally broke the screen of my Redmi Note 10s and took it to a local repair shop for a fix. Unfortunately, the screen was never properly installed, as light leaked from the edges every time. I had to revisit the repair shop at least seven times, but the issue persisted.
Frustrated, I asked a friend to take care of the repair. Initially, it seemed fine after they had it fixed elsewhere. However, a couple of weeks later, after restarting the phone, the touch screen started malfunctioning. It either stopped responding or acted erratically, registering phantom touches.
This has been a significant inconvenience, especially since I rely on my phone while attending classes far from home. I asked my friend to return it to the repair shop, but even they grew tired of dealing with it. The phone’s screen replacement quality and functionality have been a constant issue. Anyone considering this model should be cautious about potential repair complications. I expect a resolution or guidance from Xiaomi to address these ongoing problems.
