Xiaomi Mi Mix Flip Screen Cracked Under Warranty


I bought a brand new Xiaomi Mi Mix Flip phone about 4 months ago, and the device is still under warranty. While opening the phone, the inner screen cracked during the normal opening motion. There was no drop, impact or misuse; the damage occurred exactly while I was unfolding the device. I took the phone to the Mi Store in Ankara Keçiören Forum AVM and left it for service. After staying there for 3–4 days, the phone was returned to me without any repair. I was told that it was a “user fault” and that I had to pay ₺19,500 for the repair. Additionally, I was told that “the screen cannot crack by itself,” even though the screen cracked while simply opening the phone. I paid ₺35,000 for this device, and it is still under warranty. I find it unacceptable that a foldable phone’s screen breaks during normal use and that I am asked to pay such a high amount for a defect that occurred under normal conditions. I request that my phone be repaired free of charge under warranty or that the device be replaced. I kindly ask for this situation to be reviewed again and for a solution to be provided as soon as possible, as I am currently unable to use the phone I paid a high amount for.

I wonder what kind of brand this is, for a person to even bother responding.
