If Wizz Air lost your checked baggage, start by making sure you filed a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) at the airport baggage-claim or Lost & Found desk — you need that reference to track and claim.

You can track your missing bag using the online tracing via the WorldTracer system by entering your PIR code, and once the delay passes 21 days your bag is considered officially lost, which triggers your right to compensation and reimbursement of essential items you had to buy.

For essentials (toiletries, under-clothes, medication) bought while you await delivery, keep all receipts and submit a detailed claim through Wizz Air’s baggage claim portal of costs incurred; later for lost bags you’ll also need to provide an inventory of contents and their value.
