WhatsApp Threats and Blackmail Issue
On May 24, 2024, I initiated contact with an individual on Instagram. Within 10-15 minutes of starting the conversation, they saved and sent my pictures, claiming they could reach my entire family. They then proceeded to send me blackmail and threat-laden messages, demanding money. They threatened to disgrace me to those around me and publish our conversation screenshots if I didn't comply with their demands. This incident occurred on May 24, 2024. They warned that if I blocked them, they would immediately spread the images. However, should the contents be distributed, I want to make it clear that I will report it directly to the prosecutor's office. Facing such situations is certainly unpleasant. Throughout this process, I want to state that I do not accept responsibility for any legal or illegal activities that may occur on my account; any voice or written messages or audio recordings made for personal gain using my number; any transfers, images, videos, audio recordings, illegal money transfers, link sharing; offensive or threatening posts; accusatory or negative conversations; information exchange; legal or illegal actions; situations; locations; people; trades involving money, weapons, property, companies, inheritance, accounts, and threats, suicide, or any other information transmission; or for any tarnishing of my name and surname and being accused. I declare that I do not accept responsibility under any circumstances. Furthermore, I assert that I am not responsible for the use of my profile picture anywhere or the use of my phone number in fake accounts.
