WhatsApp Account Banned Following Unauthorized Compromise and Spam Activity

My WhatsApp account was compromised on September 12, 2026; my profile picture changed, and I became unable to send messages to anyone, just as others could no longer message me. Meanwhile, I started receiving callbacks from unknown numbers saying, "You called me," which made me deeply concerned. I followed WhatsApp's security steps one by one: I logged out of all devices, logged back in, and changed my password.

Despite taking all these steps, I received a warning in the app late in the afternoon on September 16, 2026, stating, "This account is not allowed to use WhatsApp." I tapped the "Request a review" option that appeared on the screen and am currently waiting for the outcome of the review process. Even though I never shared my password with anyone and never logged into my account from another phone or computer, I find it unacceptable that such a security vulnerability occurred, and I feel severely victimized.

For this reason, I will visit the prosecutor's office tomorrow to file a petition and formally record this situation. I want to emphasize that I believe WhatsApp shares responsibility for any potential adverse legal consequences that may arise in the future due to this security flaw, and I will exercise my legal rights to the fullest extent.

The review period is stated to be 24 hours, so I demand a clear, immediate response—whether positive or negative. I am suffering serious hardship and want my account reactivated immediately, along with an explanation after the necessary security investigation is conducted.
