I Was Blocked on WhatsApp While Creating a Group for My Childs Graduation
On 08.05.2025, I wanted to create a WhatsApp group to communicate with other parents due to my child's graduation, but before I could create it, he blocked me and wrote something along the lines of "you can't create a group". Then, another friend of mine created the group, made me an administrator, and this time he blocked me as spam for 6 hours. He completely closed it as of this morning. Thanks to WhatsApp, I am currently communicating with all my friends through other people. Don't just rely on WhatsApp and set off without you, you should definitely have an alternative. This is proof of how much we are attached to some programs. It would be a lie if I said I wasn't scared when it happened to me personally. I hope my victimization will be corrected.
It was fixed after about 6 hours. However, if you make the software a bit better, there won't be unnecessary spam bans. For example, there is already two-factor authentication; if a notification was sent before shutting it down, it could be closed that way. As you know, the presumption of innocence is essential. But I really had a big problem. Now I have a backup messaging app and I recommend it to everyone. Still, thank you.
