I Received a Suspicious WhatsApp Call from a +243 Number Without My Consent

On April 21, 2025, at 2:30 PM, I received an unexpected and suspicious call on WhatsApp from a number with the country code +243, which belongs to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I have no connection whatsoever to this country, and I do not know how this number got access to mine.

I immediately blocked the number, but I’m extremely concerned about how my phone number ended up in the hands of someone from outside my region. I suspect there may have been a breach of my data, and I want to be absolutely clear: any unauthorized access to my WhatsApp account, phone, or any other linked device is entirely the responsibility of WhatsApp.

I do not accept any liability if my personal information, accounts, or devices are used for fraudulent activity. This message serves as an official complaint and will be used as evidence if necessary.
