I Received a Suspicious Call on WhatsApp From a Pakistan Number Without Any Ties
On March 21, 2025 at 16:11, I received a WhatsApp call from a number with a +92 country code, which I later found out is associated with Pakistan. The number was marked as a business account. I want to clearly state that I have absolutely no personal or professional connection to Pakistan or anyone there.
This unexpected call made me extremely uncomfortable. I immediately blocked the number, but I’m still deeply concerned about how this account accessed my number in the first place. I am formally filing a complaint.
If my account information, phone number, private messages, or photos have been accessed or used without my consent for fraudulent purposes—including business registration, purchases, or generating debt in my name—I will not take responsibility under any circumstances. I hereby state that WhatsApp will be fully liable for any such misuse.
