I’m trying to create a new WeChat account on my Android phone, but during registration, the app requires me to scan a QR code from an existing WeChat user to continue. Since no one around me uses WeChat, I’m completely unable to finish creating my account.

I’ve tried multiple times using different internet connections and I’m using the latest version of the app, but the issue persists every time.

I’m requesting that WeChat allow new users to register without the QR code requirement or provide an alternative verification method so I can successfully create my account.
