I had such high hopes for the Wahl trimmer, but I was disappointed to find that the body attachment doesn't cut well and the comb attachments hardly cut anything at all. Once I had the opportunity, I promptly sent it to the service center. I was told that the product is average, but the blade was lacking moisture.
I have doubts about this because I sent the product in specifically because the blade was not cutting properly. It appears that the blade I purchased was not properly lubricated. One possible solution was to lubricate the blade and then try it out on a piece of wool. They basically accused me of being dishonest. I gave the trimmer another go, but it's still not doing a satisfactory job of cutting. I'm feeling quite let down and wish I had opted for another brand that might have been more affordable, of better quality, and provided better customer service.
