VivaVideo Started a VIP Subscription Without My Permission
On February 14, 2026, I downloaded the VivaVideo application from the Apple App Store on my iPhone. After realizing that I could not use the features I needed, I deleted the application and canceled the subscription on the same day.
Despite canceling the subscription, VivaVideo appears to have activated a VIP membership without my knowledge or explicit consent and attempted to charge approximately $42 (originally ₺1,999) through my Apple ID (f*******@icloud.com**).
Although I canceled the subscription, the VIP membership still appears to be active in the system, and the outstanding payment request has caused my App Store account to become restricted. Because of this pending charge, I am unable to update existing applications or download new ones, which prevents me from using my iPhone normally. I was informed that the restriction was placed because the payment could not be collected. I have also been unable to contact VivaVideo or obtain any assistance from the company. When I contacted Apple Support, I was advised that the issue originated with VivaVideo rather than Apple.
I respectfully request that the VIP subscription, which was activated without my clear authorization, be terminated immediately, that the payment request of approximately $42 (originally ₺1,999) be canceled in full, and that my subscription be permanently closed so that it cannot renew or generate any future charges.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including filing a complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities.
